I am so excited to finally bring you monthly updates of my baby boy! We came into this blogging game a little late so we missed out on my entire pregnancy and months 1-4, but better late than never, right?
Ronan weighed in this week at 14lbs 13oz and is 27in long AKA he’s tall and slender. He is extremely active and desperate to be on the move. I’m not exaggerating when I say I get told at least once a week, “oh wow, he’s going to be a handful!”
He is currently in 3-6 month clothes but due to his height we will probably be transitioning to 6-9 soon. He is also in size 3 diapers!
This month Ronan mastered spinning in a circle on his belly, scooting backwards, and if he can get his arms to cooperate with his legs we will have a crawler very soon. For now, he planks for a couple seconds and falls awkwardly.
We have no teeth but our pediatrician says it will be very soon considering the buckets of drool he produces every day and his obsession with his hands. He has even given up his paci and would rather just chew on it instead.
Downfalls of this month: Little man was diagnosed with eczema. He has it pretty bad on the back of his left leg and on his neck and face. The medicine he was prescribed really seems to be helping though! He also developed a bad case of hives over the past week and we have no idea why but I can already tell this Spring season is going to be rough for both of us.
Overall, Ronan is a very happy baby (unless he is hungry) and he is extremely active. This month by far has been the most fun as Ronan’s personality is showing through a little more everyday. He baby talks, he giggles, he rolls all over the place, and I can’t wait to see what month 6 holds for us!
