This month has flown by so incredibly fast! We made a few changes to our regime this month due to seasonal changes and skin problems but found a few products we like!
Products in purple are also links if interested.
Love Beauty and Planet Lavender Shampoo
I have been using this shampoo for a few weeks and so far I love it! I love the scent and my hair always feels so smooth and soft after I use it. I have very frizzy hair and I feel like this helps tame it. I’m not the biggest fan of the conditioner as sometimes I feel like it leaves my hair a little oily and almost waxy. Also, the packaging is gorgeous!
No 7 Stay Perfect Foundation
I have oily skin and I wear the shade calico. Technically I have had this a couple of months but I haven’t been able to put it down! It blends so easily on my face for a medium coverage look and makes my skin look so healthy and vibrant. It’s also hard for me to find my shade in foundations, but this one is a perfect match. I usually wear it around 8 hours and when paired with the Kat Von D Blotting Powder, it stays on and keeps my oils at bay all day.
Burt’s Bees Grapefruit Facial Cleansing Towlettes
I just started using these about 3 weeks ago and I am in LOVE. I’m not usually a fan of anything grapefruit, but the citrus scent in these are so refreshing. I wouldn’t say I would recommend them for sensitive skin as they make my skin tingle just a little when I use them, but if you have oily skin it’s a must have. They are quick drying and they leave my skin feeling clean and completely oil free, yet moisturized. I still put moisturizer on afterwards of course, but these are definitely my new favorite.
Kauai Coffee – Dark Roast
Not a beauty product, but I tried new K-Cups this week and this coffee is awesome! I use the dark roast (I like the bold taste of coffee) and it’s the perfect blend.
Babyganics Diaper Rash Cream
This month Ronan had his very first diaper rash! I know we have been blessed for 5 wonderful months that he has been rash free, but I picked up this stuff due to all the good reviews. Of course, we love it and it took care of the problem within hours. It’s made with all of the good stuff and is in the green on my “Think Dirty” app.
Summer Infant Superseat
This has been a lifesaver! Ronan refuses to learn to sit at the moment and would much rather be supported while he stands and jumps. I actually keep this in my kitchen and put him in it while I cook or clean so he gets the practice sitting and doesn’t go crazy if I’m not in the same room. He loves the toys on it and though the play bar that pushes in to the tray doesn’t stay in well, a little super glue can easily fix that.
Burt’s Bees Baby Wash
We’ve been using this since Ronan’s eczema flared up and it’s been much better than other soap we were using. It’s also very low on the “Think Dirty” app as well. It’s more gentle on Ronan’s sensitive skin and we love Burt’s Bees products!
These are just a few products we’ve been loving this month! I’m not as picky for myself but for Ronan I use the “Think Dirty” app for most products before I use them on him. I’m slowly working on using up my old products and transitioning to more safe and natural ones. This app is awesome because it’s very helpful in finding products with more harsh ingredients and lists each chemical in each product while giving an explanation and rating it on a scale!
